The Hampshire Real Bread Company is run by Darrin Romp, a self-taught home cook and baker, and operates from his home in Waterlooville, Hampshire.
Darrin has completed bakery courses at River Cottage, The School of Artisan Food and a Virtuous Bread micro bakery course with Jane Mason in September 2015.
In response to there being a lack of quality, real bread easily available locally, Darrin has developed his own microbakery and is passionate about providing quality bread and pastries.
Specializing in producing a range of naturally-leavened sourdough breads, Darrin has been selling locally since April 2016, and has seen his customer base grow steadily with sales from home and his stalls in Chichester & Emsworth.
Darrin is able to offer a range of breads, including sourdoughs, speciality yeasted breads, French & Italian breads, croissants, pastries and artisan doughnuts.
